They say “never apologise for posting late”, so I won’t. I’ll just ball right on into the fourth edition of Shout Out Saturday.
1. The first shout out goes to Hugh McLeod’s Crazy, Deranged Fools. I don’t badge up my blog for anything that isn’t worthwhile or meaningful - as you can see by the sheer lack of badges of any kind, I haven’t found anything worthwhile before this.
CDF is different. There’s something to what Hugh has been riffing on about over the last few months, and I’m starting to realise it. It’s definitely not for everyone.
2. Ericson are a band from Massachusetts in the good ol’ US of A. I found them the other day when I downloaded a random torrent, and they’re pretty darn good if you’re into alternative pop/punk. I just hope they don’t go to over-produced shite like The Mile After.
3. 11 plugins and scripts for Twitter. I wouldn’t normally give something like this a shout out, but I just checked the link out and ended up installing most of them. I’ve been using a barebones Twitter all this time, so I’m ready to step it up a notch! When you are too, check this page out.
The results for Project Octopus will be out on Tuesday night. It’s been an interesting little experiment, but it’s not over yet!
