Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to look around once in a while, you might miss it. - Ferris Bueller

Ferris was a wise man. Only with time did people come to understand the wiseness of his words. Abe Frohman was, indeed, the sausage king of Chicago.
Too Good For Bacon (TGFB) was started as a personal blog two years ago. I’ve covered a lot of topics in that time, many of them near and dear to my heart and some of them just extended late night ramblings. The changes in my blogging as I matured and learned “how to blog” are painfully obvious to me, and I cringe at some of my earlier posts. I still need a lot of work.
My needs for TGFB have changed, however, as has my life.
- I graduated from my uni degree this week, and the ceremony is in August.
- I’ve finally hit the big leagues and achieved my career goal of breaking into an ad agency “down south”.
- I’ve moved to Melbourne, and I’m currently trying to figure out how best to settle into my life now that things have changed so much.
During all of this, I’ve been sorely neglecting my blog and my other social media outlets. TGFB, while once a personal blog, now needs to be retasked and refocused towards a more long term purpose. I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and I need to finalise that purpose before I continue updating.
It’s just a matter of taking the time to plan it all out.
So to all my loyal readers, of which I know there are many (ok, five), I’ll say goodnight but not goodbye. TGFB will be back, most probably around September, with a new direction and lease on life. In the meantime, drop by on Twitter or Facebook (facebook.com/adamcorney) to keep tabs on me.
